In order to educate young people in national patriotism and form a conscious civic position of future law enforcement officers, a meeting of higher education students with representatives of the Public Organization "Union of Participants, Veterans, Disabled Persons of the ATO and Combat Actions" (SUVIATO) was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.
The event was attended by the head of the separate unit of "SUVIATO" in Vinnytsia region Viktoria PYLYPENKO, Deputy Head of the organization Tetiana SKRYPACHENKO, psychologist, specialist in veteran adaptation Olena DOMINA, as well as veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, who shared their stories and life experiences.
The meeting focused on strength of spirit, brotherhood, loss, overcoming difficulties and the importance of supporting the military after returning from the front. Special attention was paid to the role of youth in forming a conscious attitude towards service and respect for the defenders of Ukraine.
Olena DOMINA focused on the importance of psychological resilience, self-development and support for defenders both in the combat zone and in civilian life. She also provided practical advice on effective communication and interaction with veterans. Such meetings are not just communication, but an important step towards the formation of civic maturity, responsibility and patriotism in the younger generation.
