English-language contest "Children's Rights and Your School"
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invites students of graduating classes/courses of technical schools, colleges, colleges, lyceums and general secondary education institutions to test their knowledge of English and the basics of human rights protection in the English-language contest "Children's Rights and Your School".
Given the irreversibility of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic course and the consolidation of the status of English as one of the languages of international communication in Ukraine, the contest is not only an opportunity to prove oneself by determining the level of one's knowledge of English and law, but also a chance to receive a valuable gift:
- a valuable gift from the organizers;
- free publication of your work in the collection of the International Student Scientific and Practical Conference in foreign languages;
- publication of your video essay in English on the information resources of KhNUIA, which will be a direct advertisement of the general secondary education institution that provides effective language training for students in Ukraine!

Stages of the competition
1. April 22 - 28, 2024: REGISTRATION (in the Google form, you should indicate the name of the participant, confirm the status of a graduate student of a technical school, college, school, lyceum or general secondary education institution https://forms.gle/nDWVRhc7fvX6yGsK7) and
ONLINE TESTING (in the Google form of solving 25 multiple-choice questions to test the level of lexical and grammatical knowledge and the basics of human rights protection https://forms.gle/dBe1NPL8GCsL7wVA9).
The 100 participants who receive the highest number of points for the test will move on to the next stage of the Contest.

2. April 29 - May 03: Preparation and evaluation of a written work in English on one of the proposed topics of the participant's choice.
30 participants who receive the highest number of points for their essays will move on to the next stage of the Competition.
3. May 06 - 10: PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF THE VIDEO ESSAY lasting no more than 3 minutes, recorded by the participant in English on one of the proposed topics of the participant's choice.
10 participants will become the winners of the Contest and, after confirming their status as a graduate student of a technical school, college, school, lyceum or general secondary education institution, will receive valuable gifts from the organizers and other bonuses.
