The practice of conducting binary classes for students of the Police Academy continues at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. This time, together with the teacher of the cycle of general professional training Heorhii Smyrnov, the class was conducted by Kostiantyn Andronov, Chief Forensic Expert of the Weapons Research Sector of Kharkiv Scientific Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The students got acquainted with materials from forensic practice, peculiarities of detecting and extracting trace information during the inspection of the scene of an incident. They also discussed the use of specialised knowledge in the fields of forensic ballistics and trace evidence in the investigation of criminal offences. The forensic expert shared his practical experience and gave advice to future police officers.
