During the class, the students acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in identifying elements of document forgery, in particular those related to driving. The class was combined with a demonstration of samples of forged documents, completion of quest tasks on practical detection of forgeries both visually and with the help of forensic equipment. Also, photo and video materials of investigative and expert activities in criminal proceedings of this category, in which court verdicts have already entered into force, were demonstrated.

Special attention was paid to motivational issues of mastering the knowledge of criminalistics and forensic science by patrol police officers in order to improve the efficiency of their duties in the units they represent.
