For first-year students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a freestyle wrestling lesson was held on the topic "Throws and defensive actions in the stalls". The event was held by representatives of the Department of Special Physical Training together with the Honored Coach of Ukraine Dmytro Pasenko.

Cadets mastered the technique of performing throws and defensive actions on the ground floor, practiced the elements of struggle taking into account the requirements of service and applied training and the peculiarities of physical activity.
Dmytro Pasenko shared his own professional experience and emphasized the importance of the correct technique of performing techniques: «Free wrestling forms not only physical strength, but also endurance, speed of reaction and the ability to make instant decisions. These qualities are extremely important for future law enforcement officers».

Representatives of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2 drew attention to the practical significance of the acquired skills: «The elements of struggle that you practice today are directly used during the performance of official tasks and ensuring personal safety».

Conducting such classes helps to increase the level of physical fitness of cadets, improve professional skills and form readiness for action in difficult and extreme conditions.
