The Speaking Club project, initiated by the rector of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs Vyacheslav Abroskin, continues its work. On September 29th, a regular meeting of the members of the speaking club took place.

The aim of the project is to improve the language skills of university cadets and promote mastering English at a higher level. Among the interesting topics discussed by the cadets today were favorite movies and games, as well as elements of police uniforms, types of crimes and more. Talking about the films presented in the images, the participants of the meeting exchanged views, describing the events that were mentioned from watching movies.

Then the cadets were working in groups takeingpart in a game "Association" and prepared a project, depicting on a sheet of paper the association on certain topics: famous Ukrainian figures, the most common hobbies in Ukraine, the responsibilities of the police. "The atmosphere is positive, the cadets spent an hour talking to the speaker, the teacher and discussing various topics with each other. I believe that this project will help future police officers to yse foreign language fluently and understand an authentic information better", said Olga Chichyan, a lecturer of the Department of Language Training of the university.

All members of the Speaking Club received a lot of positive emotions, improving their level of English. The next meeting will take place next Tuesday, so the cadets, who have already become regular guests of the conversation club, are looking forward to it.
