Representatives of the Odesa regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine headed by the head of the organization Yevhen Zharikov handed over 100 first aid turnstiles and 100 sleeping bags to the cadets of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

- We handed over the turnstiles, which the cadets will be able to carry with them during patrols to ensure public safety and order. It is good if it is not needed, but if necessary, they will be able to provide the necessary assistance, - said the commander of the Rapid Response Unit Maksym Baranetskyi.

Then, representatives of the Odesa regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine conducted training for cadets on first aid, directly, using turnstiles.

- Bleeding control, the algorithm of actions - when and how to apply them correctly, so that the cadets could practically consolidate their knowledge. In addition, training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation was conducted - these skills are also extremely important, - said Oleksandr Shaparets, a member of the Rapid Response Unit, and instructor of the first aid school.

Thus, the cadets consolidated their knowledge in practice and practised actions to provide assistance in various conditions and injuries.
