The meeting of the representatives of the interregional department with Andrii Fomenko, Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel, began with a discussion of prospects for further cooperation and identification of key areas for joint training.
Thus, Andrii Fomenko suggested organizing online classes with representatives of the interregional department for students of “Law” faculty. According to the Rector, such teaching methods are quite effective and will allow more experienced practitioners to share their experiences with young people.
The Cooperation Agreement has been signed in the frames of the meeting. The signatories were Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, and Ivan Lehostaiev, Head of South-East Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro). According to the Agreement provisions, the establishments shall organize mutual scientific and innovative projects, scientific and educational events.
Moreover, the presentation of “Digital Justice“ informational project has taken place at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs today. Students from “Law” faculty could get acquainted in detail with the innovative services provided to citizens at the interregional department for the protection of human rights and property, ensuring implementation of contracts, doing business, etc.
The presentation attended Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel, Ivan Lehostaiev, Head of South-East Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro), Olha Zakharova, the first Deputy Head of Interregional Department, Oleksandr Bilchuk, Deputy Head of Interregional Department – Head of the Office of Enforcement Decisions Execution in Dnipropetrovsk region, Larysa Nalyvaiko, DSUIA Vice-Rector.
Anna Vasylyshyna, Head of Public Communication Sector, was the moderator.
Adrii Fomenko, Rector, emphasized the significance of cooperation between Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs and South-East Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro).
“Cooperation Agreement has been signed between our institutions today. This is a landmark event for all of us. Interregional Department is our permanent stakeholder, whom we cooperate with in terms of internships for our students and further employment of University graduates. It is also very pleasant that this event is being held at DSUIA”, Rector said.
According to Ivan Lehostaiev, digitalization in justice is rocketing.
“Public authorities must always meet the challenges of technological progress, because we guarantee the convenience of citizens, provide the opportunity to use comprehensive services and receive maximum protection”, Ivan Lehostaiev mentioned.
During the event representatives of the Interregional Department presented the main results of their activities modernization. Thus, online services in the field of state registration of real estate, online services introduced in the state registration of civil status, etc. were covered among other issues.
Students from “Law” faculty joined the conversation with experts from the Interregional Department and could ask questions.
