The delegation included the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5, the Head of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development Mykola PAKHNIN and the Head of the Information and Technical Support Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr POLKHOVSKYI.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in a series of lectures and seminars by both lecturers and experts on the exchange of acquired knowledge and practical experience, in particular on the following topics: "The role of the National Police of Ukraine in the system of preparing the population for national resistance", "Ukrainian experience in countering cyberattacks using the example of protecting local networks", "Features of countering Russian information attacks in the context of sensitive topics of Polish-Ukrainian relations", as well as further strengthening partnership relations and cooperation between universities..jpg)
In addition to lectures and seminars, in which scientists, students of Adam Mickiewicz University, representatives of local governments and public organizations participate, visits are made to local institutions involved in the system of ensuring public order in the city of Poznań.
The delegation of KhNUIA met with the Commandant of the Straż Miejska w Poznaniu (Municipal Police of the City of Poznan) Waldemar MATUSZEWSKI, and got acquainted with the specifics of the work of the units, which are actively reformatting their activities to meet the new challenges of Poland's internal security, related to constant hybrid attacks from Russia. The university representatives visited the Monitoring and Crisis Management Center of the City of Poznan, which, with the help of more than 1,600 video surveillance cameras, covers the entire territory of the city and plays a key role in ensuring public safety in the capital of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

The university delegation also met with representatives of the local authorities of Poznan - Vice Mayor Mariusz WIŻNIEWSKI, who is responsible for the city's crisis management, and Director of the Department of City Development and International Cooperation Iwona MATUSZCHAK-SZULC.
First Vice-Rector Viktor VASYLENKO took part in a meeting with the leadership of Adam Mickiewicz University - Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Rafal VITKOVSKY and Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies Rafal DYMCHYK. During the event, the further participation of cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the traditional Summer and Autumn Schools of Adam Mickiewicz University and new projects between our universities were discussed, the implementation of which will combine joint developments and experience in the areas of national security and improving the system of national resistance.

As Viktor VASYLENKO noted, the issue of proper organization of national resistance is one of the priorities for Poland today, and Adam Mickiewicz University is becoming a part of this process, therefore, the developments and research of scientists and scholars of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are becoming a significant contribution to the creation of a common security space between Ukraine and Poland.
Vice-Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University Rafal VITKOVSKY noted the special role of the police academy in the solid achievements that contribute to strengthening public security and the overall single European space, of which Ukraine is an integral part. They will be reflected in joint projects, the implementation of which both sides are already working on.
