University staff and cadets met with representatives of Kadyievetskyi Lyceum of Orynynska village council of Kamianets-Podilskyi district - future graduates, teaching staff and director Inna Sereda.

The Deputy Directors of the Educational and Research Institution No. 4, Yurii Onyshchenko and Oleksandr Shlomin, familiarized the youth with the peculiarities of the educational process at the higher education institution with specific learning conditions, which trains specialists in law enforcement and cybersecurity. They noted that candidates for state-funded training (cadets) must fill out a questionnaire on the NPU website https://osvita.np.gov.ua/.

Associate Professor of the Firearms Training Department Maksym Vladymyrov and Senior Lecturer of the Tactical and Special Training Department Volodymyr Yevtushok, together with the cadets, demonstrated models of various types of weapons, explosives and ammunition, as well as police equipment during special tasks.

Ruslan Yedin, deputy head of the course of the ERI No. 1, told the high school students about the profession of investigator and coroner.

Olena Makarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science, introduced the students to the work of a criminalist and demonstrated the contents of his suitcase, which is designed to identify and collect material evidence at a crime scene for further examination and research.

From Yelyzaveta Posnaia, a specialist in the Psychological Support Unit of the Human Resources Department, high school students learned about the specifics of providing psychological assistance to children who have suffered from domestic violence, bullying or have been victims of criminal offenses

The Head of the Driving School, Oleksandr Marunchak, told the students and teachers whose relatives or friends are combatants and have been disabled that the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs can provide training and help them obtain a category B driver's license. The young men and women were also given the opportunity to test their driving skills on computer simulators in the classroom of the Driving School.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Director Oleksandr Shlomin, the lecturer of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies Iryna Dovhan, and the Deputy Head of the course Mariana Sidletska showed the students specialized classrooms of the university, a shelter and a modern gym where cadets and students are engaged in physical training, and familiarized them with the living conditions in the dormitory.
