The vice-rector, police colonel Ihor Kovalov, met with the listeners of the CSIPT "Academy of Police" of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, who began special professional training.

More than 40 listeners from different regions of Ukraine will master the program of special professional training of police officers under the specialization "criminal police" (operative authorized officer).

The director of the CSIPT "Academy of Police" Mykola Nazarenko also took part in the meeting.

Ihor Kovalov focused attention on the importance of a responsible approach to training and the role of law enforcement officers in ensuring the safety of citizens. It was also emphasized on the strict observance of safety requirements and discipline during classes.

Such meetings give the opportunity to outline the main requirements for training, to set the listeners up for the responsible mastering of professional knowledge and practical skills and contribute to the formation of readiness for future service in criminal police units.
