Andrii Benitskyi, Ph.D. in Law and Professor in the Department of Criminal Law at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs; Iryna Ryzhenko, Ph.D. in Law and Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Law; and Head of the Department of Educational Quality Assurance Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor Olena Kaminska, participated in a regional roundtable on the topic: «Specifics of Implementing the Law of Ukraine «On Academic Integrity» in the Educational Process», held by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance at the National University «Odesa Law Academy».

During the roundtable discussion, representatives of higher education institutions and research organizations in the Odesa region discussed current issues regarding the specifics of implementing the Law of Ukraine «On Academic Integrity» following its entry into force in July 2026.

Professor Andrii Benitskyi delivered a presentation titled «Liability for Violations of Academic Integrity», during which he highlighted issues such as the differentiation of academic liability for violations of academic integrity and the improvement of mechanisms to protect those engaged in academic activities, among other topics.

The roundtable served as a platform for discussions among representatives of the National Agency, academic and teaching staff, and education experts regarding the integration of the values, principles, and rules of academic integrity into internal education quality assurance systems, among other topics.
