On September 13-14, the Odesa Region Open WTKA and K-1 kickboxing championship was held, dedicated to the Day of physical culture and sports of Ukraine.

Representatives of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs also took part in the competition. According to the results of the championship:
Maksym Pavlov, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, won first place in the 76 kg weight category in the K-1 section;

Robert Movsisian, a second-year student at the Institute of Law and Security, won two second places in the 86 kg weight category in the K-1 and Hardbox sections.
Andrii Delihioz, a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war and lecturer at the Department of Professional and Special Disciplines at OSUIA, supported the university's athletes and motivated them during their performances at competitions.

The championship confirmed the significant role of sport in shaping strength of spirit, unity, and a healthy lifestyle for future law enforcement officers.
