The Hurby tract became the location for one of the largest field games in Ukraine - "Hurby-Antonivtsi". A group of cadets joined the event, for whom participation in the game became a form of practical field training in conditions as close to real as possible.

The cadets of the scientific and practical circle of tactical and special training "SHIELD" under the leadership of the senior lecturer of the department, a participant in combat operations Dmytro Hunko practiced key skills necessary for future professional activities.

In particular, the participants improved tactical orientation in the terrain and work with topographic maps in forest areas and at night; trained the ability to quickly respond to changes in the situation, moving on to performing tactical tasks in different modes; developed physical endurance and self-discipline during long marches and throws in difficult weather conditions.

Special attention was paid to the performance of reconnaissance tasks. As part of the observation groups, the cadets carried out covert duty, recorded the movement of a hypothetical enemy and collected operational information.

Future law enforcement officers also participated in night tactical episodes aimed at practicing team interaction and coordination of actions in stressful conditions.

The cadets of KhNUIA performed as part of the “Lions” squad, ensuring the effective implementation of the assigned tasks thanks to discipline and clear execution of commands. According to the results of the game, the squad won.

The final stage of the event was the Council of Senior Observers, during which the participants were awarded and a charity auction was held in support of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the cadets, participation in the game allowed them to consolidate practical skills, test their own capabilities in field conditions and improve team interaction.
