The election of the chairman of cadet and student government of the university has taken place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Candidates for this position have presented their electoral programs with suggestions about the activity of the youth association for 2020–2021 academic year.

According to the results of the secret ballot, Oleksii Kovalenko, a second-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1, received the largest number of votes. He will head the cadet and student government during the current academic year.

The Rector of the University Dmytro Shvets congratulated Oleksii Kovalenko on his election to a responsible position, wished productive work, inspiration and creative approach in solving actual issues.
