During the XX General Assembly of the Ukrainian Association of Students, which took place in Kyiv for three days, active student youth from different parts of our country exchanged their thoughts, ideas, made plans for the future and joined forces to develop the consolidation of the student community of Ukraine.

The National Student Forum 2024 was held within the framework of the assembly, in which more than 200 leaders of student councils from all over Ukraine participated. They discussed the challenges faced by student associations, identified priorities and outlined ways to develop student initiatives. During the forum, the Chairman of the Cadet and Student Parliament of KhNUIA Mykola Sorochyshyn was elected a member of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Students' Rights.

The youth met with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, who spoke about the upcoming reforms and held an interactive lecture in the format of “questions and answers”. Also, a meeting with the participant of the hostilities, public figure and writer Oleksandr Teren was organized for the students. He spoke about the importance of organizing a barrier-free space in higher education institutions, the features of the rehabilitation of war veterans and presented his book “The Story of a Stubborn Man”.

The XX General Assembly of the UAS became a platform for those who seek to change, create and develop the student space.
