Yana Horskina, Chair of the Student Council at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, represented the university at the 10th Congress of the "Ukrainian Student League" public organisation. The event brought together active students and representatives of youth self-government bodies from higher education institutions across Ukraine.

Congress participants discussed the development of student self-governance, the role of young people in public life, the affirmation of national identity, changes in higher education, and charitable initiatives.

Particular attention was paid to collaboration between students and the business sector. Representatives from Roshen, SKELAR, Kyivstar and PlantIn shared their own experiences and spoke about opportunities for professional development, launching a career, developing leadership skills and implementing joint youth projects.

Taking part in such events gives representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs the opportunity to exchange experiences with youth leaders from different regions of Ukraine, find new ideas for the development of student self-governance, and establish professional and partnership contacts.
