For students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, studying in the specialty "Law Enforcement Activities", an online class was held with the participation of the emergency medicine paramedic of Sumy Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Liliia TETIACHENKO on the topic "Providing first aid to victims in life, emergency situations and at work".

The medical worker spoke about the basic principles of assistance, personal safety, the cardiopulmonary resuscitation algorithm, working with a defibrillator and stopping bleeding with a tourniquet. Liliia TETIACHENKO shared her own work experience and emphasized that every police officer, like any citizen in wartime, must be able to provide first aid.
