n all cities where Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is located, students are participating in an information campaign on children's road safety in the winter period, which is being conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with UNICEF and the National Police at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska. The main goal of the campaign is to make reflective elements an integral part of everyday life.

Due to restrictions on electricity consumption, street lighting in many cities is partially or completely turned off, so pedestrian visibility has become even lower. Cadets advise adults and their children to wear reflective elements on themselves or attach them to clothing or bags in the dark, and distribute flyers with information about safe behavior on the road in the dark. Participants in the campaign draw the attention of pedestrians to compliance with the Rules of the Road, in particular, regarding safe behavior on the road in the dark.

Reflectors or flickers will help you be more visible on the road, they will reflect light at dusk, so drivers will be able to see the pedestrian in time and stop the car.
