Vladyslav Lisinskyi, a student of the barrier-free driving school of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, has completed a theoretical training course and is preparing to take the exam at the territorial service center of the MIA.
Vladyslav is a person with a disability since childhood. He studied at Podilsk Special Educational and Rehabilitation Socio-Economic College in Kamianets-Podilskyi and had long dreamed of getting a driving license. However, the path to this goal was not easy: other driving schools refused to accept him for training.
Vladyslav learned about the opportunity to acquire driving skills at the barrier-free driving school of KhNUIA while at college, from graduates who had already completed their training there and successfully passed their exams.
‘For me, a driving license means, first and foremost, freedom of movement, confidence in my own abilities and the opportunity to be more independent in my daily life,’ Vladyslav shares.
In the future, he plans to pursue a career in computer technology and IT. Vladyslav is convinced that obtaining a driving licence will be an important step towards professional self-realization and active participation in public life.
