
Cadets studying in the specialty "Psychology" and practical psychologists of the university joined the interdepartmental seminar organized by representatives of the public formation "Chaplain Patrol". The event was conducted by chaplain from the USA Michael Brown, who presented a training on the topic "Moral trauma".

The participants got acquainted with the concept of moral trauma, its causes, manifestations and consequences for the emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being of a person. Special attention was paid to modern approaches to supporting and restoring people who have experienced traumatic experiences and the consequences of war.

Representatives of the helping professions of the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard and other departments joined the event. Future psychologists got acquainted with practical cases of colleagues, learned more about the features of chaplaincy service and joined the discussion on the differences between psychological and moral trauma.

The event was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, promoting the exchange of experience and professional development of participants. The knowledge and practical experience gained will be useful for further work on providing psychological assistance to police officers, military personnel and their family members in wartime conditions.
