The participants got acquainted with the activities of Europol, the structure of the agency, the legal principles of its functioning and key initiatives, in particular the SIRIUS project, which provides law enforcement agencies with access to cross-border electronic evidence in criminal proceedings.3.jpg)
Special attention was paid to the work of J-CAT - the Joint Cybercrime Counteraction Group, as well as the organization of the activities of the Netherlands National Police Corps. The delegates studied the practical aspects of interaction between the police forces of the EU countries in the fight against international crime and analyzed the information systems used by Europol.
During the events, the Vice-Rector presented the achievements of the university in educational and scientific activities and invited foreign partners to participate in international conferences that are traditionally held at KhNUIA. The Ukrainian delegation proposed new formats for interaction with Europol, in particular, the participation of domestic universities in the implementation of online tasks from Europol officers, which will contribute to the involvement of the academic community in the investigation of international crimes.
The result of the visit was the achievement of a preliminary agreement on the participation of the Europol representative from Ukraine, Yevhenii KOSTIUK, in the X International Scientific and Practical Conference of KhNUIA "Training of Law Enforcement Officers in the System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine under Martial Law", which will be held on July 3, 2025.
