Oleksandr Bahola, a resident of the village of Lisnyche, Bershad district, Vinnytsia region, is starting a practical driving course at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Driving School for Persons with Disabilities. Despite the distance, Oleksandr decided to do his practical training in Khmelnytskyi at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs: ‘I wanted to get a driver's licence for a long time, but I did not dare to do it. In order for me to learn to drive, I needed a specialised car with manual controls. On the Internet, I read about Driving School graduates who had similar health problems and decided to study. I learnt the theory in my region and passed the exam on the first try. I hope that the practical course will be successful and I will pass the exam just as easily. It is very important for me to get a driving licence to be more independent and help my mum with the housework. I consider Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Driving School to be the best, so I believe that I will succeed.’
Before the practical training began, Oleksandr Marunchak, Director of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities, held a consultative meeting with the future driver.
