The first class of the School of Scientific Leadership in the new academic year was held on the topic "Main areas of activity and development prospects of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA" with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Department of the Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations - Head of the Organizational and Scientific Department of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Maksym Romanov, Vice-Rector of KhNUIA Oleksandr Muzychuk, head of the School, researcher of the research laboratory of socio-psychological support, support and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Vitalii Naida, cadets, students, students of master's degrees, postgraduate studies and adjuncts of the university.
Oleksandr Muzychuk spoke about the history of the establishment of the School of Scientific Leadership, the main achievements of its participants, and unique publications in the country and the world. He noted that the students themselves took an active role in their creation, meaningful filling and design. In particular, Methodical recommendations on the organization of scientific, creative, international, public work of students of higher education were published. Separately, the Vice-Rector focused on the close connection of the scientific activity of the students with a wide range of problems that appeared before the Ukrainian society precisely after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. Thus, at the initiative of Oleksandr Mykolayovych, the School staff prepared the publication "Cadet Science Through the Ashes of War", which contains information about the students who direct their scientific research to improve the techniques and tactics of warfare, provide assistance to the civilian population, and document war crimes.
Maksym Romanov spoke about his personal path of development as a scientist, which began in his cadet years and continues to this day, and gave extremely useful advice to those seeking education on planning personal time during scientific activities, ensuring self-organization and discipline in everyday scientific work. Answering the questions of those seeking education, Maksym Yuriiovych touched on the issue of organizing international scientific cooperation under martial law at the level of participation in Erasmus+ programs, international conferences, competitions, as well as international grant programs that allow you to receive funding for the implementation of your own idea.

Vitalii Naida familiarized the participants of the School with the schedule of optional classes, the leading scientists of the university will be involved in conducting them. The subjects of the classes are devoted to issues of genocide in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, technogenic and ecological danger in Ukraine, the specifics of advocacy, the role of student self-government in the life of the city, etc. For the first time, the students themselves, who have been engaged in scientific activities at the School for several years and have their own interesting results of scientific research, will be involved in the classes. Vitalii Naida familiarized the participants with the Regulations, tasks and structure of the School of Scientific Leadership, individual achievements of its participants at the national and international levels.
