Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues active career guidance work in various cities of Ukraine. Yurii Onyshchenko, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the university, together with the cadets Bohdan Topa and Ivan Tsukan held an interactive meeting with the students of Kryvyi Rih Lyceum of Security and National Patriotic Education of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.

Representatives of the university familiarized lyceum students with the possibilities of studying at KhNUIA, the peculiarities of police service and helped them navigate the choice of their future profession. During the event, they presented the university's educational programs, including the specialties of Kremenchuk Flight College – «Aviation Transport», «Avionics», «Electricity, electrical engineering and electromechanics», as well as «Cyber Security and Information Protection», «Accounting and Taxation», «Law» and «Law Enforcement». The participants were also informed about the Educational and Research Institutes and educational locations of the university.

Special attention was paid to cyber security issues. Lyceum students were invited to join the project of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine «BRAMA» and held an interactive quiz «Cyber hygiene». Practical advice and useful life hacks from the employees of KhNUIA helped to increase the level of digital awareness of young people and deepen knowledge about safe use of the Internet.

Carrying out such events promotes a conscious choice of professional path and helps young people confidently plan further education and future careers.
