University vice-rector Serhii Bortnyk met with the junior commanders of the university's cadet units. He emphasized compliance with the law, official discipline, flawless fulfillment of the requirements of the Oath of a police officer, statutes, orders, norms of professional and official ethics. Serhii Bortnyk noted that the primary responsibilities of junior commanders are the development and support of subordinates' conscious attitude to the performance of official duties, encouragement of reasonable initiative, diligence in service: "Maintain friendly relations, contribute to the formation of a positive moral and psychological climate in the team, not take actions that may lead to the loss of impartiality and objectivity during the performance of the duties assigned to you. Follow the rules of wearing a uniform, behave with dignity and honor outside the service, be an example in everything." The vice-rector wished the cadets success, good luck in their service and studies.

Serhii Lukash, director of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, addressed the junior commanders and emphasized that the cadets are trained under martial law, which places a high responsibility on the junior commanders for the observance of personal safety measures by subordinates.

The Director of the ERI No. 4, Mykola Marchuk, emphasized that junior commanders should be reliable assistants to the heads of cadet units in the organization of the educational process, ensuring all aspects of the cadets' life.
