As part of a joint initiative, representatives of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with students of Vinnytsia Lyceum of the MIA of Ukraine, visited wounded defenders undergoing rehabilitation.

The day before, lyceum students also congratulated the university staff on the upcoming winter holidays.

During the meeting, the youth sincerely addressed the servicemen with warm words of support, performed Christmas carols and presented a nativity scene. Traditional Ukrainian songs filled the event with an atmosphere of unity, faith and hope, and the symbolism of the nativity scene became a reminder of the indomitability of the Ukrainian spirit and the victory of good over evil.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which trains specialists for the system of the MIA of Ukraine, traditionally pays great attention to the patriotic education of young people, the formation of civic responsibility and respect for national traditions. The participation of cadets and students in such initiatives is an important component of the educational process of the university.

Such meetings are of particular importance, because they give defenders moral and spiritual support, and for the younger generation they become an example of gratitude, respect and preservation of Ukrainian traditions.
