As part of the implementation of the project “POINT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL PRACTICES”, a role-playing game-quest “Code of Understanding” was held for cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. It was developed by psychologists of the Department of Psychological Support of KhNUIA with the aim of developing emotional intelligence, empathy, constructive communication skills and forming a culture of mutual respect in the educational environment.

The interactive format of the meetings involved the active involvement of each participant. The players worked with thematic cards and situational tasks that covered issues in the field of emotional intelligence, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, empathy, bullying prevention and conflicts.

By completing the tasks, cadets and students learned to analyze situations from different positions, better understand their own emotions and the motives of other people's behavior, developed the skills of active listening, reasoned expression of opinions and teamwork. Considerable attention was paid to the formation of the ability to recognize emotions, realize their impact on behavior and use emotional self-regulation skills in everyday life.

The game format contributed not only to obtaining new knowledge, but also to the possibility of applying it in practice, turning knowledge into professionally important skills.
