Senior Lecturer Ivan OMELIANENKO of the Department of Special Physical Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted adaptive training for Demian PREDAN, who has a disability. The class was based on elements of football and aimed at improving coordination, developing endurance, as well as supporting mental health and socialization.

The department staff conduct such trainings on a regular basis as part of the realization of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment in Ukraine. This is not only an opportunity to do sports, but also an example of genuine support, mutual understanding and belief in the power of a person who overcomes any obstacles.
