KhNUIA: Silver at the All-Ukrainian Tournament “Kyiv City Cup”
The All-Ukrainian Cybersports Tournament “Kyiv City Cup 5x5” in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) discipline was held in Kyiv, which was supported by the Ukrainian Cybersports Federation and the Department of Youth and Sports of Kyiv. A high level of skill, cohesion and strategic thinking was demonstrated by 2nd-year cadets of the ERI No. 4 Vladyslav Ivashchenko and Vladyslav Uzhva.
Representatives of KhNUIA successfully passed the qualifying stage, which was held in an online format, confidently winning victories over rivals from different cities of Ukraine. Thanks to perseverance and coordinated teamwork, the cadets deservedly reached the finals of the tournament.
In the decisive match, they demonstrated a high level of preparation, tactical literacy and endurance in tense game moments, worthily confronting a strong team from Kyiv. According to the results of the final match, the cadets took an honorable 2nd place.
Thanks to effective team interaction, quick response to changes in the game situation and competent use of tactical decisions, the university representatives became silver medalists of the tournament, received medals and a cash prize from the prize fund of 25,000 hryvnias.
