A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the 14th Operational Brigade of Chervona Kalyna NGU.

The document was signed by the Rector of the university, third-rank police general Valerii Sokurenko, and the acting commander of the unit, Colonel Serhii Savychev.

The memorandum is aimed at developing a long-term partnership and joining efforts in the national-patriotic, civic and legal education of young people. Among the key areas of cooperation are improving the level of legal culture of higher education students, forming moral values, and increasing awareness of the role of the security and defense sector in ensuring the national security of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the agreements, the parties plan to implement joint information and educational events: open lectures, thematic meetings, seminars, discussions and round tables with the participation of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, veterans and cadets.

Special attention is paid to the popularization of military service, the formation of a positive image of a serviceman and increasing the motivation of young people to serve the Ukrainian people.

The signing of the Memorandum was an important step in strengthening cooperation between the higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the units of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.
