KhNUIA: Adaptive sports training for war veterans

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is holding adaptive sports classes for veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war. One of them was conducted by the lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training, Tetiana Polinska, for the participant of the hostilities, Serhii Vasyliev.

The classes combined physical training and practicing hand-to-hand combat techniques, including methods of protection against threats using cold weapons and firearms. Such classes help veterans maintain proper physical fitness, restore practical skills, and strengthen self-confidence.
