The Center for International Projects "Euroosvita" (https://euroosvita.net/) in partnership with the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (http://ireg-observatory.org/en/) presented the eighteenth academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine "Top-200 Ukraine 2025".

The assessment of the activities of Ukrainian universities was carried out on the basis of six international and four national indicators, the data on which were taken from open sources. Among the international indicators: "QS World University Rankings", "Scopus", "SCImago Institutions Rankings", "THE University Impact Rankings", "THE World University Rankings", "QS Sustainability Rankings". National indicators included: “Effectiveness of participation of Ukrainian HEIs in scientific project competitions”, “Rating of Accreditation Expertise of the National Academy of Higher Education and Science 2019-2024”, “Number of patents obtained by university scientists”, “Weighted average value for HEI ratings by the number of applications submitted by applicants and average competitive score”.

This year, when forming the “Top-200 Ukraine” rating, increased attention was paid to criteria that reflect the impact of artificial intelligence on research activities, innovative activity and the social role of universities.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took 128th place, which is the best result among HEIs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine that train police officers.
