A practical freestyle wrestling class was held for the cadets, which was conducted by representatives of the Department of Special Physical Training together with Honored Coach of Ukraine Dmytro Pasenko.

Dmytro Pasenko is one of the leading freestyle wrestling specialists in Ukraine, a multiple champion and coach who has trained dozens of international-level athletes. His methodology combines classical wrestling techniques with elements of modern self-defense tactics, which is especially important for training future law enforcement officers.

During the class, the cadets improved their throwing techniques, defense techniques, and actions on the ground. The coach demonstrated modern approaches to performing basic and counterattacking throws, as well as ways to escape from holds. The students actively practiced the technique in pairs, feeling the real rhythm and dynamics of the fight.

“Such training helps to develop self-confidence, learn to act quickly, competently and effectively even in the most extreme situations,” said Dmytro Pasenko.
