A practical lesson on the topic: “Providing first aid to persons in emergency conditions. Basic resuscitation measures. Initial examination of the victim”. It was conducted by the trainer of Vinnytsia Regional Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine Yurii Martseniuk together with the Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI #2 Mykola Borovyk and Associate Professor of the same department Inna Larionova.

The students worked out a set of measures aimed at restoring and preserving the life and health of the victim, including basic resuscitation (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), stopping massive bleeding, etc. The first-year students also learned about the difference in the ways of providing first aid to newborns and adults.
