Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the 24-hour conference on global organised crime

Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Employees of the Educational and Research ERI №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the fifth 24-hour Conference on Global Organised Crime #OC24, where he presented the results of the Security and Trust research project.

The event brings together researchers from all over the world. The interactive online broadcast is carried out for 24 hours simultaneously in 4 streams, which allows researchers from all time zones to join the discussion at their convenience. All presentations and discussion panels will be available for viewing in a recording after the conference.

This year's conference was attended by more than 320 speakers from six continents. Scholars discussed current issues of combating organised crime in 65 discussion panels of 75 minutes each, broadcast online in interactive round-the-clock streams, with more than 2,500 scholars from around the world participating in the discussion of the reports. The panel discussion ‘Organised Crime, Corruption and Politics’ and the joint presentation of the KhNUIA and Anglia Ruskin University ‘Organised crime, corruption, politics and policing in Ukraine’, which included the results of the ‘Security and Trust’ research, aroused keen interest and recommendations for further cooperation in joint research.
