Lilia TOVSTOPIAT, the curator of educational activities of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, held informational and educational meetings with students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic “Barrier-free: why does it concern everyone?”.

During the event, the issues that citizens face in exercising their rights, receiving services and participating in public life were discussed. Special attention was paid to young people’s awareness of inclusion, equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

The participants considered aspects of physical, educational and social accessibility. At the end, Lilia TOVSTOPIAT emphasized the important role of law enforcement officers in creating a safe and open environment for all, in particular for people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans and representatives of other vulnerable groups.
