The WAKO Open Kickboxing Championship of Ternopil Region took place in the city of Borshchiv, bringing together athletes ready to demonstrate their strength, endurance, and skill.

Roman Savchuk, KhNUIA cadet, participated in the competition, viewing it as another opportunity to test his abilities and showcase the results of his rigorous training.

Competing in the adult "light-contact" division (weight category up to 63.5 kg), Roman delivered a confident performance and secured first place, winning the championship gold medal.

According to the athlete, preparation for the event was both lengthy and systematic: "Training involved consistent practice, as well as work on technique and physical endurance. Participating in the championship was a chance to assess my readiness and gain valuable new athletic experience."

This victory at the regional championship is the result of hard work, discipline, and daily self-improvement. It proves once again that combining studies, sports, and determination yields impressive results.
