The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the Open Cup of Khmelnytskyi Region in Athletics. Representatives of Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Ternopil and other regions of Ukraine also demonstrated their physical strength and agility.

According to the results of the competition, the university cadets took the following places in running at different distances:
I place - 3rd year cadet of the ERI №2 Oleksandr Chornokulskyi (3000m);

I place - 1st year cadet of the ERI №4 Vladyslav Krush (1500m);
I place - 3rd year cadet of the ERI №2 Zakhar Yevreimov (800m);
I place - 2nd year cadet of the ERI №3 Ivan Ukhov (400m) (4x100m);
II place - 3rd year cadet of the ERI №1 Andrii Poidiuk (3000m);
II place - 3rd year cadet of the ERI №2 Zakhar Yevreimov (1500m);
II place - 1st year cadet of the ERI №4 Vladyslav Krush (800m);
III place - 2nd year cadet of the ERI №4 Oleksandr Marynkevych (3000m and 1500m);
III place - 1st year cadet of the ERI №1 Anton Stelmakh (800m);
III place - 1st year cadet of the ERI №1 Anastasiia Shtanko (800m);
III place - 2nd year cadet of the ERI №3 Ivan Ukhov (200m).
The team of KhNUIA won second place in the track and field relay.
