The events are carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Oblast.

During the next tactical medicine class, Luhansk region police officers practiced the algorithm for stopping massive hemorrhages according to the MARCH protocol (Massive hemorrhage, Airway, Respirations, Circulation, Head injury/Hypothermia).

Particular attention was paid to the “3-T” rule — “Tourniquet, Tamponade, Pressure”. Separately, the features of stopping junctional hemorrhages were considered.

The police officers practically practiced the use of a hemostatic tourniquet: proper storage and application to the injured limb under conditions of limited time and stress. The technique of wound tamponade was also practiced, as well as methods of fixing bandages with a bandage or alternative means.

Such events contribute to increasing the level of pre-medical training of law enforcement officers, forming stable practical skills for providing first aid in combat and crisis situations, quick response to injuries and preserving the lives of both citizens and colleagues during the performance of official duties under martial law conditions.
