Nataliia Todorovska, Senior Specialist Criminalist of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, and Oleksandr Yukhno, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI №1, conducted a lesson on the discipline “Criminalistics” with the 3rd year students of KhNUIA.

The students gained knowledge and practical skills in face fingerprinting, as well as in detecting, fixing, properly removing and preserving traces of forgery, and considered the peculiarities of detecting biological traces of DNA profiles on documents.

The cadets were told about proper packaging, formulation of questions for conducting handwriting and handwriting examinations to identify the perpetrators of such actions. Particular attention was paid to the motivation of students to acquire the above knowledge, skills and abilities in the educational process.
