A DSUIA Cadet Won a Prize at the National Taekwon-Do Championship
The sporting event took place from February 28 to March 2 in Kyiv, bringing together the best
fighters from across the country. The silver medal of the championship was claimed by a cadet of
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Yaroslav MELNYK.
Among the participants in the Taekwon-Do competition were adults, juniors, youth, and
veterans, with the best athletes set to join the national team for the upcoming European
Championship. The chief secretary of the competition in Kyiv was DSUIA student Darina
MAMCHURENKO.
Athletes competed in several weight categories. Based on the results of the fights, cadet
Yaroslav MELNYK secured second place in the under-75 kg category.
