The Ukrainian Sambo Cup for men and women in the sports and combat divisions was held in Chernivtsi.

At the competitions, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by Danil DZOBA, a third-year student of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

In a tense competition, KhNUIA cadet demonstrated a high level of training, endurance and technical skill, which allowed him to take first place in his weight category of 58 kg.

According to the results of the competition, Danil qualified for the World Sambo Championships, where he will represent Ukraine on the international sports arena.
