НАВС

Roman Stetsyk, a cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and president of the ISACA student (cadet) group, took part in a working meeting of the ISACA Kyiv Chapter, which was dedicated to discussing comments and proposals on the draft Cyber Security Strategy of Ukraine.

The event was attended by representatives of government bodies, the business sector, the academic community and civil society organisations working in the field of cybersecurity. Participants discussed the key provisions of the updated draft Strategy, its relevance to current cyber threats and challenges, and approaches to achieving the objectives set out in the document.

For Roman Stetsyk, taking part in the meeting provided an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the process of shaping state policy in the field of cybersecurity and to engage with industry experts. During the event, the cadet gained a practical understanding of the approaches to developing and implementing strategic documents, as well as the current challenges facing the national cybersecurity system.

Involving students in professional discussions of this calibre contributes to their practical training and helps them to better understand current trends in the field of cybersecurity. Such experience is an important component of training specialists who will, in the future, work to strengthen the country’s cyber resilience and security.
