The WAKO Youth Kickboxing World Championships took place in Budapest (Hungary), in which Roman Pshenychnyi, a 2nd year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute №1 of KhNUIA, took part as part of the national team of Ukraine.

In the 1/4th part of the competition, Roman met with an opponent from Turkey and won with a score of 3:0. In the semifinals of the championship, he fought with an athlete from Israel, in which he won by the decision of the judges and reached the final. In the decisive fight, the cadet lost to his opponent from Serbia and took 2nd place in the World Championship
