Nikita Kuts, a cadet of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, has become the IFMA Senior World Champion in Muay Thai, winning the gold medal at the IFMA Senior World Championships 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The championship brought together nearly 500 athletes from more than 100 countries, who competed for world titles in their respective weight categories.

Nikita Kuts competed in the Men's U24 –57 kg weight category, where he confidently won three bouts on his way to the championship title.
In his opening bout, the OSUIA cadet faced a representative of Malaysia and secured an early victory by technical knockout (TKO) in the second round. In the semifinal, Nikita defeated an athlete from Iraq to advance confidently to the final.

In the decisive bout, the OSUIA representative faced an athlete from Australia. Demonstrating outstanding technical skill, composure, and determination, Nikita Kuts claimed victory and earned the title of IFMA Senior World Champion.
