Daria Martaloha, a cadet at the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Agencies at the National Police University of the OSUIA, participated in an international academic mobility program at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Republic of Poland).

The academic exchange took place as part of a summer program and focused on human rights. As part of the program, a representative from OSUIA worked on a project proposal titled “Law in the Field of Human Rights — An Idea or a Practical Concept,” participated in educational and academic events, conducted research in collaboration with her mentor Piotr Skadowski, an assistant professor in the Department of Human Rights at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and exchanged experiences with representatives of the international academic community.

Participation in the program provided an opportunity to deepen my knowledge of human rights, learn about European approaches to legal education and the practical application of legal norms, and gain experience in academic communication and research in an international educational environment.

During the academic mobility program, special attention was given to presenting Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, its educational and international activities, as well as the development of academic ties with Polish partners.
