The Donetsk Law Institute provides an opportunity for future law enforcement officers to study new subjects that are necessary to be competitive in rapidly changing life. Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Information Security of the Faculty№1, head by PhD of Law Olha Kovaliova implemented a new discipline.

There was presented a new discipline «Basics of criminal analysis» delivered by Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Science and Technology Worker Alexander Korystin. This discipline acquaints cadets both with the experience of domestic and international experts in using the analysis of criminal offenses to prevent and to combat crime.

Mr. Korystin is a leading specialist in this field in Ukraine, the author more than 200 scientific and educational publications, monographs and textbooks.
