As part of practical classes in the discipline "Tactical Special Training" with the 2nd course cadets of the Kherson Faculty was made a trip to the Temporary Detention Center №1 the Headquarter of the National Police in Kherson region to practice the skills of escorting detainees and arrested persons.

Oleg Yaroshak, a teacher at the Department of Special Physical and Firearm Training worked out with the cadets the procedure of placing people in the Temporary Detention Center. The cadets were able to get acquainted with the quality and procedure of food, the conditions of detention in which the detained and arrested persons are placed.

Together with experienced police cadets they carried out a practical inspection of the detainees in the cells, got acquainted with the technical characteristics of vehicles escorting them.
Many questions about the specifics of the work of this unit and the problematic issues that arise during the convoy were addressed by cadets to Temporary Detention Center employees.
The main issue the cadets paid attention was the observance of the rule of law and the protection of human rights and freedoms.
