As part of informal (non-formal) education, cadets learned the skills of providing primary psychological assistance to people who are in a stressful/traumatic situation as a result of a recent or ongoing crisis event. The training course was conducted by representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

For future investigators, these skills are necessary to provide emotional and practical support to individuals, families or communities who find it difficult to cope with life's difficulties under the legal regime of martial law. The course participants also consolidated knowledge of personal safety, which will be useful when providing psychological assistance.
